Yue Min Jun is clearly unfamiliar with the history of western civilization to have a remote chance at sincere cynicism.
The Massacre of Chios resulted in the murder of 42,000 innocent men, women, and children and the enslavement of another 52,000. It resulted in an outcry of emotion from Europe and America against that barbarism of the Ottoman Empire. Efforts of Victor Hugo and Eugene Delacroix were to bring awareness to the desolation.
In mocking this tragic event, Yue Min Jun has revealed his lack of compassion and misunderstanding of history. It is a disgrace that should not be supported.
